Letters from Teabaggers….
This one came from the Tea Party Express (my comments are in red italics):
This week, as Members of Congress debated this year's budget, the Tea Party was smeared by Congressional Democrats. As they Should be!!!
Sen. Chuck Schumer said the Tea Party movement was a bunch of fleas, wagging a dog's tail. He hit the nail on the head!!!
Senator Harry Reid went one bit further, blaming the budget stalemate on the Tea Party. Which is true, isn’t it??
Here's the truth: the Tea Party was the one reason that Members of Congress were pressured to finally start cutting spending. But we have so much further to go. And if Chuck Schumer and Harry Reid think they can silence us by smearing us, they have another thing coming. Yeah – more of your crap since you or Republicans know how to govern!!!
We have a $14+ trillion national debt, and instead of real spending cuts, many Members of Congress think they can keep spending more and more - and to pay for it all they want to raise our taxes. Well, our answer is this: NO WAY! George W. Bush is to blame for this. He gave huge tax cuts to the wealthy and did not pay for them, started two wars which were off budget as was Medicare Part D. President Obama simply put the Medicare Part D and the wars on the budget!!!
Liberals in Congress got us into this mess from rampant over-spending, and too many Republicans went along with these liberals. Now it's time to stop the party, wake up and face our nation's hangover. We have a spending problem in our government and it's time to make the serious cuts that are needed to protect our nation's future. I’m sorry, but when Democrats are in charge, we use the Pay-Go system (you know, pay with the money you have) – Republicans always take that away and spend and grow government deficits (Reagan, Bush I & Bush II… Clinton had balanced budgets and was paying down the debt and Bush II squandered it by giving tax cuts to the wealthy)!!!
Please help us fight back. The battle has just begun and we need much more fiscal accountability in Congress. We got a start this week - but it's just that, a start. Here’s a start – Fuck you!!!!

Right Wing Pigs!!!
Here I thought these asswipes loved money!! Apparently not!! Handwritten on this $10 Bill: Harry Reid has sex with his son!
I was verifying some money (yes, I work with money) and I noticed this bad looking bill and pulled it as bad and noticed what was written on it. I couldn’t believe someone would write such a thing, especially on U.S. currency.
Whoever wrote this is apparently a mouth breathing, inbred piece of shit loser. Hey you, who ever wrote that in the bill: Fuck You!!!

Um?? WTF!!! This is insanity at it’s worst!!!
Shinto and Buddhism are Japan's two major religions. They have been co-existing for several centuries and have even complemented each other to a certain degree. Most Japanese consider themselves Buddhist, Shintoist or both.Religion does not play a big role in the everyday life of most Japanese people today. The average person typically follows the religious rituals at ceremonies like birth, weddings and funerals, may visit a shrine or temple on New Year and participates at local festivals (matsuri), most of which have a religious background.

950 to go...
Nothing would make me happier than to see the whole organization fold like a cheap lawn chair!!!
Because of a weak economy and cash-strapped donors, Focus on the Family said it is eliminating 202 jobs, the deepest cuts in the 32-year history of the Colorado Springs-based Christian nonprofit. The ministry laid off 149 workers, and cut another 53 vacant positions.
The cuts announced Monday slash Focus' local workforce by nearly 18 percent - from about 1,150 to 950. Twenty percent of the cuts are in management.
The layoffs come just weeks after Focus announced it was outsourcing 46 jobs from its distribution department. Focus also laid off 30 workers and reassigned 15 more in September 2007.

File under: Huh?!?!?
A good analogy for the quote below (via Power Line) would be "Edward R. Murrow should conduct his interviews as Groucho Marx does on "You Bet Your Life?":
Obama thinks he is a good talker, but he is often undisciplined when he speaks. He needs to understand that as President, his words will be scrutinized and will have impact whether he intends it or not. In this regard, President Bush is an excellent model; Obama should take a lesson from his example. Bush never gets sloppy when he is speaking publicly. He chooses his words with care and precision, which is why his style sometimes seems halting. In the eight years he has been President, it is remarkable how few gaffes or verbal blunders he has committed. If Obama doesn't raise his standards, he will exceed Bush's total before he is inaugurated.

What's Worse...
Via CNet:
The U.S. House of Representatives bill (PDF), which was introduced late Friday by top Democratic politicians, could give the movie and music industries a new revenue stream by pressuring schools into signing up for monthly subscription services such as Ruckus and Napster. Ruckus is advertising-supported, and Napster charges a monthly fee per student.
The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) applauded the proposal, which is embedded in a 747-page spending and financial aid bill. "We very much support the language in the bill, which requires universities to provide evidence that they have a plan for implementing a technology to address illegal file sharing," said Angela Martinez, a spokeswoman for the MPAA.
According to the bill, if universities did not agree to test "technology-based deterrents to prevent such illegal activity," all of their students--even ones who don't own a computer--would lose federal financial aid.
The prospect of losing a combined total of nearly $100 billion a year in federal financial aid, coupled with the possibility of overzealous copyright-bots limiting the sharing of legitimate content, has alarmed university officials.
