Teabaggers are getting a bit desperate over Wisconsin

The Teabaggers are getting desperate in Wisconsin and, in my opinion, losing.  I got an e-mail not too long ago (which I’ll poste below in full, minus the links to show of their desperation to defeat us Progressives in this fight over collective bargaining and unionization.  But before I do, please visit the Moveon.org/ActBlue page to make a contribution for the recalls to help win this fight.  It’s not only a fight for the people of Wisconsin, but a fight for all Americans!!!

The news media is reporting that we are being outpaced in fundraising and momentum in the critical battle in Wisconsin between Barack Obama and the labor union mobs vs. Republican Governor Scott Walker.

One media outlet notes that besides the $400,000+ labor union ad campaign is that the liberals have raised another $250,000+ for their effort to recall Republican State Senators, in an effort to deny Governor Walker the Republican majority he now enjoys in the legislature.

So how's the drive to recall Wisconsin GOP state senators going? If these new numbers the Wisconsin Democratic Party shares with me are accurate, it's already exceeding expectations in a big way.

Several Republican State Senators are said to have become "wobbly" and are now considering whether to abandon Gov. Walker, because of the political pressure they are facing.

Friends - this is all ridiculous!   We must rally together and beat the liberals on this vitally important battle ground in Wisconsin.  For the past two years we rallied millions of Americans together for tea party principles of a return to constitutional principles, free markets and fiscal responsibility.

Well, we must do it again now in Wisconsin.  We've raised just over $50,000 for our TV and radio ad campaign supporting Gov. Scott Walker.  But you can do the math:  the liberals are spending over $650,000 to our $50,000.  No wonder the polls show Gov. Walker has lost support over the past 10 days.

Now is the time for us to strike back.  But we need everyone's help to be successful.

We will launch our largest TV ad buy yet for Governor Walker in the next 18 hours - provided you, the patriots of America, can help us raise the money to buy the airtime.

Please support our efforts to purchase TV and radio airtime in Wisconsin, by making a contribution.
